The Mercury Music Prize

Earlier today, the 12 hopefuls nominated for this years Mercury Music Prize were announced. La Roux, Kasabian and BRIT Award winners Florence & The Machine feature in the shortlist.

The awards ceremony takes place on September 8th where the winner will be announced and will take home the £20,000 prize.

Here’s who made the nominations list:

Try Nate James, his music style is funky kind of like Stevie Wonder. He’s a good artist and i’m not just saying that cos he’s family lol
