On This Day – Elton John & Kiki Dee were number 1 in the singles chart with “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”
On This Day – The Beach Boys were number 1 in the album chart with “20 Golden Greats”
1942 – Bruce Woodley (vocalist with The Seekers)
1943 – Jim McCarty (drummer with The Yardbirds)
1946 – Jose Chepito Areas (percussionist with Santana)

I was a Junior in HS in 76′ Elton & Kiki–NOT one of the best memories in POP history.

Awww – but you have to admit – it is a great Karaoke song – I always duet with this song when we get the karaoke machine out.
I remember when Don’t Go Breaking My Heart was out very well as soon as i hear it i think of them times, i also really liked the flip side “Snow Queen“
